Still Point Interfaith Retreat Center, located in upstate NY, just minutes from downtown Saratoga, is open during the year for  private retreats, a day of quiet and prayer, group or staff retreats, youth retreats, business retreats and church groups.  At this time we cannot accommodate overnight retreats for groups with more than 8 people unless you wish to 'camp'. There  are 4 fully winterized hermitages (cabins) nestled in the woods along with a large facility, The Welcoming House, for groups.

We offer several packages  for individuals who want silence and solitude: $75 per night with food included (2 meals are pick-up and 1 meal is prepared  for you.) or $55 per night when you provide your own food. N.B.The double cabin (1 & 2) and cabin 3 have some mustiness in the air and may be problematic for those with certain allergies.

We now offer 3 rooms in the Welcoming House during warmer weather for those who do not wish to walk to and from a cabin. There are 2 small rooms with a single bed and night stand and 1 room with a futon which pulls out to make the equivalent of a double bed. All 3 rooms have doors which connect to the larger eating and lounge area. These are available at $65 with food included and $45 per night when you provide your own food.

Take 24 hours from your busy schedule. Come to one of our heated cabins this winter. Pray!

Be silent. “The quieter you become, the more you hear.”

Superstorm Sandy was heralded by the news media as a monster storm long before it came ashore. People were advised for days, and well so, to prepare for water, food and other shortages and in so many instances to evacuate their homes. This scenario has been repeated in many other natural disasters across the U.S.; the all-consuming fires in the West comes to mind. I wonder what might happen if we were to tap into our center to ’experience things differently’? ‘Special’ people in many cultures have shown themselves able to influence the natural world, from bringing rain to calming storms. I believe if ONE person can do that then it is possible for any person to do so. In this day and age, it may well be worth our time and effort to pay more attention to that ’inner guidance’ which will help us live fuller more empowered lives. The shift in our vibrational fields could prove to be part of the healing that our planet, ourselves need. Perhaps superstorms and devastation need not be part of life in the 21st century. It may well be that as we awaken to and live in harmony with our inner self that our external world will shift as well. Why not ’go for it!’? We have everything to gain and nothing to lose.                                                                     Rowena Fay
